Evomo at Wet Otter Day 3
by Bryan on April 14th, 2007
We saw the weather report for Saturday was a chance of rain before noon with some showers over night on Friday. We woke up to a wet morning with skies clearing and the sun poking through. We were really excited to have a beautiful saturday as the tempature was warming up but then around 10am the clouds moved in and by 10:30 the rain began to dump. When I say dump, I mean hurricane style with winds and lots and lots of rain. It was a mess. Everyone quickly battened down their booths and pulled in all of their product displays.
Luckily we had some new Evomo Team issue windbreakers and jackets to outfit ourselves with. In addition to that our friends over at Scott hooked us up with some nice large Scott umbrellas.
Water + dirt = mud and lots of it everywhere.

Evomo DH ride Brett Miller tore up the course today in the rain and mud after a 1 hour race delay due to hail!

Evomo sponsored riders stopped by to take shelter from the rain.

The rain didn’t keep Tom Ritchey from hanging out and talking.
While walking around trying to stay warm we came across a new product from Seattle called Simbree. Its an organic oatmeal like energy bar that also comes in bite size chunks. Really good and not cardboard like at all. Maple Walnut was my favorite.
The new Evomo Braincase design was a big hit. We have them in black for men & women. only $20. Check our website on-line store in a week to order yours.
Wilma was our Evomo girl for the day and helped spread the Evomo propaganda to all the fans who braved the weather at the Sea Otter today.
