Evomo at Sea Otter Day 4
by Bryan on April 16th, 2007
Today is Sunday the final day of the Sea Otter Classic and unlike yesterday the sky has not a cloud in it and the sun is shinning bright. It is quite chilly and definitely muddy. One thing is for sure the wind really picked up for most of the day and keep the temperature very cold. I think if we had a choice wind is better than rain.

Evomo sponsored rider Josh Kahn and his fellow riders Leslie and Becka stopped by. They came all the way down from Ashland, Oregon. It was really cool to chat with them. Check out Josh’s helmet - clearly a fan of Evomo!
Even with the wind blowing pretty good, that didn’t stop the action over at the Red Bull dirt jump.
While walking around I ran into a few fellow friends like Roubaix Girl, Tim Jackson at Masi Bikes, Tim Grahl at the the Crooked Cog, Francis from MTBR.com, RL from the mtnbikeriders.com, Dorothy Wong from the SoCalCross series, Emma from Cal Cycling Team, Peter, David, Lawrence from the NorCal League, Austin, Nitish and Gaelan from NRL Racing.
Also I stopped by to check out the Toyota FJ Crusier. Its really cool and an ideal vehicle for a mountain bike team like Evomo’s. Maybe we should get one? As I was checking out the weather resistant rubberized interior I noticed someone left an Evomo calling card in the door panel. Evomo + FJ forever! How sweet.
Yani who is representing the TAG wheels company was hanging out with us showing is skills as a master of balance.
Our good friend from the Southern California CX series stopped by to see what kind of womens shirts we have at Evomo.

As we finished up our interview with Dorothy we packed up the booth and headed for home and discovered a clever use of the Evomo stickers we gave out. If anyone else has a photo of what you have done with some Evomo stickers be sure to send them over to us.
We hit the road around 6:00pm and had some cans of Full Throttle Energy drink to keep us company for the 6 hour drive home. Big thanks goes out to Jim over at Kenda for the awesome team support while we were at the Sea Otter.

Pieces? We need to hear the story on that one.

When we got back the black foam came out of my helmet and was cracked, I’m not really sure how that happened because I haven’t hit my head with this helmet, yet. I ended up siliconing the pieces together and sticking the foam back in, mostly because I don’t want to replace all the stickers I have on it.
