The regular Sunday ride is back

Whew! 2007 has been a very busy year for all of us. After a whirlwind tour of what seemed like a race every weekend since the season started, we have had few chances to get out and enjoy the regular Sunday trail ride here in California. Today was pretty low key which is nice. Rob, Canadian Rob and I (Bryan) - just the three of us headed out to an old favorite, Chesebro in Agoura Hills.
It was nice to see so many weekend warriors out there. It gave us a chance to stop and chat with a few fellow mountain bikers and answer their questions about Evomo and who we are. As we were getting ready for our ride a group of guys in the parking lot were diggin’ the Evomo Team jersey which was manufactured by our buddies at Pactimo in Colorado. Once we got going the temperature was really nice and I was glad I didn’t put on my long sleeve jersey which I was considering.
We even stopped to provide some trail side technical support to a couple ladies. It seemed one of the girls had a new Gary Fisher with a loose headset. Rob was able to bust out his crank brothers multi-tool and tighten it correctly. She was on her way and off we were as well - heading out to the “look out” where we always stop for a few minutes to have a snack and check out the view.
We then decided to punish our quads with a nice solid climb up to China Flat where we jammed along some fun single track and then headed back down the fire road fast and furious. I have to say I am seriously digging the Tifosi Dolomites I picked up while up at Sea Otter. Matte black really ties in well with my helmet and man do they look boss! You can’t beat the price either. Our buddies over at SickLines.com are going to be reviewing the Dolomites, here is what they have to say so far. The Mtn. Bike Riders guys even got their hands on some so they must be hot.
Definitely a chill ride and it was nice that we didnt run into any snakes. I hate snakes.

Travis and I ran across our first rattler this weekend. Of course it had to be at one of the most treacheries parts of the trail and our bikes had to form our moving barrier. Gotta love those suckers.
