Arizona State Finals
by Matthew Connors on May 17th, 2007
Last weekend I had state finals, It was the hardest race of the year. The temp was 90 degrees and it was at 5000ft, which is high for me. My race was 22.6 miles with 3200ft of clibming. WOW like I said - hard.
So I was sitting at the start line getting ready to go and give it all I have for the final time. Before the race started I was 7th in the overall points and know that was it. So the gun goes off and it’s time to kick some ass. The first lap down and I’m felling great. But the second lap comes around and I want to quit. I was in some pain and that was the half way point. The third lap I just got though it and it wasn’t pretty at all. In the feed zone I wanted to stop again but I caught someone in my class, so that was like my second wind. My legs had nothing left in them, it was so hard to turn

by Clint Hosman on May 3rd, 2007
Ask any downhiller what three more inches has done for them, heck they went way beyond three inches, and from the looks of things especially the ladies enjoy watching them ride way more then us skinny XC guys. Who couldn’t use three more inches? You may ask though, Clint, what good would three more inches

Wow, what a weekend. Norba National #2, Firestone. I was feeling pretty good going into the weekend. Fresh new tires from Kenda, and all the support one could ask for from EVOMO.
