Evomo Rider Profile: Jason Hughen

Something you dont hear or read much about are the riders who are married, have kids and are just as competitive as the twenty-something kids. The kids like Shea Jordan and Jami Pellegrino are the guys you typical hear about hitting it big and parting it up.

On the flip side is a guy like Jay Hughen who competes in Observed Trials (also know as bike trials or just trials). Personally, I dont understand how these guys pull this stuff off. If you have not ever seen trials, you need to. These guys can pretty much move their bike from one location to another with out ever putting a foot on the ground or actually…

Being pretty new to the sport of mountain biking I have never ridden a 22lb full suspension bike that is truly a bullet. My bike is fully supported by some really terrific sponsors. Let me start with of course, we all know are killer frames are right here in our back yards of SOCAL, Turner Bikes and the wheels are so smooth, fast and stealth from stans no tubes. Tires I just can not stop talking about that smb8 (tubless) on the rear and the Blue groove(tubeless) that I run on the front, directly from John Tomac over at Kenda, man that…

Evomo Team Bike Build-Fest

by Bryan on August 20th, 2007

Evomo Bike Build Fest 2007

Well this last Sunday didn’t include a regular ride. Why you ask? Well for a few reasons.

A) It was hot… not Jessica Alba hot - think hot like 95 degrees and dry SoCal HOT.

B) We had to go help Walker have a girl-on-bike bachelor party (well, we didnt make it to Durango, but we were there in spirit). Congrats Walker!

C) We spent the day building some sweet new team bikes from Turner.
