As Nitish and I were walking through the main booth area on July 15th at the Downieville Classic, he suddenly stopped me and said “Austin, there is Eric Carter! He’s the national champion for downhill! lets go talk to him.” and soon after that, not only had we had a conversation with him but we were taking pictures with him! It was amazing to be that close to a real pro!

The fall season for mountain biking is over here in Arizona. Though in typical Arizona fashion it was equal to a summer season in most parts of the country as far as the weather goes. Two of the three races went down in temperatures over 90 degrees. Yeah, just in case you didn’t say “that sucks” I will fill it in for you, it did suck. I have officially signed the papers to become a monk in Al Gores church of global warming to do my part to cool the earth and more specifically Arizona. Is it bad that I don’t care about the rest of the world’s temperature as long as my home stays a perfect 80 degrees in the day all year long? Evomo’s Youngest Team Rider Races CX

This past sunday was the end of a 4 day Thanksgiving weekend which included a visit to the “Turkey Trot” cyclocross, race #7 of the SoCal Prestige Series.
