Hanging with the Pros

This news is a bit late but definitely cool enough to still share… As Nitish and I were walking through the main booth area on July 15th at the Downieville Classic, he suddenly stopped me and said “Austin, there is Eric Carter! He’s the national champion for downhill! lets go talk to him.” and soon after that, not only had we had a conversation with him but we were taking pictures with him! It was amazing to be that close to a real pro!

We kept walking and soon we spotted Mark Weir. We approached him and started talking. he is so cool! Before we knew it we not only had pics with the pro, but Nitish and I had landed invitations to ride his pump track! i was so stoked! I was also stoked that we had done this all “pimped-out” in our sick Evomo hats and shirts.
