Racing already?
by Matthew Connors on January 31st, 2008
Last weekend was the start of the Arizona State Championship. I have been looking forward to this race for months. The night before I could not sleep at all, I got up an hour before my alarm was going to go off and got everything packed, drove out to the race to get all set up and hang out with the guys that I train with. I got out to the race three hours…

by Bryan on January 27th, 2008
We got a message sent to us from Scott B. from Illinois on the Evomo myspace page asking if it would be cool with us to get a tattoo of the Braincase artwork I created. Hell-yeeeaaaah! So Scott emailed me some pictures of his tattoo all finished and…

Winter Racing in Arizona
by Clint Hosman on January 21st, 2008
What a great weekend for racing. I was afraid from the weather early in the week that I was in for a frigid day on the bike as the temperature has been in the low 50s. Thankfully Friday it started to warm and by Saturday they where calling for low 60s. Not that it made a whole lot of difference for my race starting at 8:30. I got to the venue at McDowell Mountain with plenty of time to get signed in and warmed up but of course as is the case with most well laid plans something had to go wrong. Today it was that my registration through active.com didn’t go through even though the…

I was planning on initially including these pictures in my first post, but I had to hand over my digital camera for a couple weeks. Since I recently got it back I can finally share the rest of the pictures I took of my new Turner Nitrous and some shots from the first couple rides on it…
It’s like Rocky only without the black eye.
by Clint Hosman on January 14th, 2008
Being inspired by Bit T’s posting on hottie shorts and fixie training and thought “maybe we should tell each other what we are up to on the training tip.†With that in mind before I explain anything of my training or what I do while on my rides I should explain that I subscribe to what I like to call the “Rocky IV†method of training. I see myself as Rocky of course because number one I love America, and number two, like Rocky I don’t have a lot of money to throw at things like CTS couches, power tap meters, expensive heart rate monitors…
My Mountain Bike Co-dependency Fix
by Travis on January 11th, 2008

So heres my Problem as a large guy, racing semi-pro. I stand at 6 foot 3 inches, weight in at 190-195 ad long legs for more torque. Why am I boring you guys with these details? I break more Mountain Bike equipment than anyone I know. Just the short list includes 8 various full suspension, and hardtail frames; broken, cracked, snapped, unglued, unhinged or otherwise folded in half. Then we could talk about the…

We can’t all live in Southern California. Just because its winter, is no excuse for laying on the couch in the fetal position crying because you want to get out and ride. You CAN ride in the winter if you do it right. Now I’m not saying I do it right, but I still get out and …
