Why was no one at the Fontana NMBS #1?
by Bryan on March 31st, 2008
Well for one thing, everyone I talked to said there is very little, well actually, no promotion of any of the National Mountain Bike series events on a local or national level. The only people that know about the event are the racers and avid mountain bikers that like to race. Even the avid guys, the weekend warriors are not showing up when they should, if they new how there are a lot of top level companies…

The desert is a harsh mistress
by Clint Hosman on March 30th, 2008
It was great ride yesterday out at the McDowell mountain park again. I wanted to get at least one more lap around the course I will be racing Friday but didn’t want to burn myself out in the process. I should have known better then to ride with others to get this [...]
The glamorous side of bike racing: Sitting on your butt waiting for a ride.
by Clint Hosman on March 27th, 2008
After a long boring day at work I was looking forward to a good recovery ride out on the road. I put in some monster hill intervals last night and my body was telling me it was time for a few hours of spinning. I got home, geared up and out the door. 30 minutes [...]
White Trash solutions with Travis
by Travis on March 26th, 2008
So all you guys and gals who have done all kinds of silly, dangerous, fun, on the edge of illegal stuff, like Dry Ice bombs, Potato Guns, and M80’s. Not that I have ever used, played with or discharged any of these things, cause that would be baaaad!! My point is you don’t graduate from [...]
Whats Your Body Worth?
by Bryan on March 26th, 2008
According to this non-scientific but entertaining calculator, my body is worth $5325. Not bad, but I think they really ought to consider my stunning physical features, chiseled face, rock hard abs and smooth tight ass… I mean come on, I am an elite mountain biker who spends at least 2 hours a day [...]
Destination Walker: FRUITA, COLORADO
by Walker Thompson on March 24th, 2008
Oh my, oh my… Boy, did I enjoy myself this weekend. If you haven’t been to Fruita, CO then you’re missing out. I was this this weekend and boy did I have fun. The odometer said I completed 60 miles, but I’d say that doesn’t even come close to what if felt like. I’m talking early season leg burns, one crash, a blown seal and a hangover on Sunday!
A few pics from the weekend. Also, did I mention I’m not the best picture taker…

Who likes heat and sand?
by Clint Hosman on March 24th, 2008
It was a busy weekend what with the holiday yesterday. After my ride Saturday it was all about the overdue yard work and then on Sunday it was house cleaning in preparation for family coming over.
Saturday morning was all mine though. I headed out to the MacDowell mountain tracks to get ready for the [...]
The Master of Disaster
by Evomo Sponsored Rider on March 20th, 2008
This race started out like a disaster not only did I invite my girlfriend but my mom as well. Now most of you riders know you usually only bring one just to be nice, but two, you usually try to avoid. Twice as many women getting ready in the morning, that many more bathroom
