Evolving More

The bike you ride might prove you are evolving more, or less. Remember in the day when you had a cheap hardtail with horrible shifting? Then dual suspension came about and you had to have one. Now, that old dual suspension, with four inches of travel, is behind the glass at your house. You’re riding freeride and cross country isn’t even part of your vocabulary. But then you buy a singlespeed and your legs are the size of ripe watermelons. OK, is this an evolution or a de-evolution? What about if you reverse the buying trend -singlespeed to freeride to dual suspension xc to hardtail.
As for me, I still haven’t bought a freeride bike, but I am riding a singlespeed. But the point of this blog is that all of us have gone through this process. No matter what, we have evolved more, right?
