50 Hours Plus $862

by Bryan on June 11th, 2008

As a follow up to the on going saga from last Saturday (read blog here)… We have found out its pretty expensive to bring the Rukus, especially when you are in a bind with the police.

Jami got his violation paper work in the mail today… looks like he got:

50 hours community service

$559 citation fee

$303 impound fee

evomo police report with lots of fines and community service

Well here is the real deal people. We are all about bringing the Rukus, but again – please dont get out there and break the laws. Its all fun, no one got hurt but the reality is we were on private property doing some “stunts” that make people nervous – especially if we got injured or damaged property. Liability is a big word and most people these days have no interest in being liable.

Be careful out there people….  even when you are pretending!

Dude… I got the same notice when I was like 10. Tough times…

I understand your pain… FREE JAMI!!!

Well fortunately you are in L.A. – 50 hours of community service…imagine all the stars you’ll meet!

Get a few pieces of garbage signed by Willis while doing street cleanup and you’ll recoup your losses on eBay in no time.

You may even get someone to look at that “Mountain Biking meets Fast and the Furious” screenplay you’ve been trying to sell!

  3. BubbaShelby says:

…but be careful if you plan to push your “Broke-Bike Mountain” screenplay. Not everyone shares your artistic vision and absolute acceptance of male full frontal nudity.

  4. T-rav says:

    Keeping your cornhole virginal $559

    Recovering your trusty steed $303

Documented beatdown by La’s finest. Priceless

  5. Clint says:

$862 as it turns out is the right price to make mountain bike girls pants drop.

    Your in luck Jami.

  6. Bradford Berling says:

Jail is the best way to get laid.

  7. Mib says:

‘Have a nice day’ – How about f*ck off?

They tell you they want money for this this and this and then hold onto your bike and all, then tell you to have a nice day????

Still, great story to tell your kids
