Summer Riding.

by Clint Hosman on July 29th, 2008

I took Thursday and Friday off work last week in a triple pronged attempt to A) Keep the man from taking all my unused vacation days back at the end of August. B) Get my wife off my back by doing some home maintenance. And C) Put in some long road miles as a base [...]

6 Inches Of Raw Power Has Ruined My Life

by Walker Thompson on July 25th, 2008

About a month ago I purchased a Kona Coilair Supreme. Since then my cross country career has gone nowhere! I sold my Cannondale Skalpel and a Salsa Moto Rapido hard tail to get this bike. So now that my true racing bikes

Jose Made Me Do It

by Left Leg Greg on July 24th, 2008

I went riding today even though I was not feeling well. My friend and I decided that we should climb Cholla Hill in Aliso Woods.

The one person I went riding with was the person I said I would never ride with again was Jose. He can make me do things I would normally not do. He is either crazy or makes me that way so then I think he is crazy. He some how ends up right behind and inside my camelbak the whole time…

Riding the 2009 Cannondale 29er

by Bryan on July 21st, 2008

jason with the 2009 cannondale 29er caffeine

Friday was fun. Took the day to meet up with Bill (Marketing Director for Cannondale) and Jason from the industry trade magazine Bicycle Retailer. We met up at Newbury Park Bicycles and headed out to the Los Robles trail head from there.

The 3 of us headed out on our Cannondales (with leftys) and we all had our Tifosi sunglasses on …

by Clint Hosman on July 18th, 2008

With the average daily temperate around 110 the only way to escape the heat here in Phoenix is to get out on the bike at night. Thankfully this is also the only way to look really cool in the summer as well in the all black Evomo team kits. It’s the time of year where [...]

Motorist VS Cyclist Road Rage in Los Angeles

by Bryan on July 9th, 2008

Dr. Christopher Thompson\'s car after he cut in front of a cyclist and slamed on his brakes.

This story is seriously messed up. I have never heard of a driver taking his car and cuting in front of a group of cyclists and slaming on his brakes… causing one rider to go thru the back window!

A Working Cardboard Bicycle

by Bryan on July 3rd, 2008

Carbon Fiber is so 2007. For all you bike geeks that plunked down $4000+ for the latest and greatest carbon fiber wonder bike this past year, you could have spent maybe $30 USD and got yourself a bad-ass cardboard bike. You think I am joking, just remember one word, Proflex and you will be [...]
