CORBA FAT TIRE FESTIVAL 2008
Last Sunday was the CORBA Fat Tire Festival at Castaic Lake and Evomo was there showing our support. Brad, Rob, Brandon and I were there to participate in the poker ride, have some delicious tacos and mingle with fellow SoCal mountain bikers.

Well the poker ride was more like a pokey ride. Rob got a flat which didnt slow us down as much as my sorry ass draggin up the climbs. Thats what happens to cardio when you just party and sit in front of a computer all day taking care of business. Plus my front brake was plum out of fluid, with no clear indication of a leak. So i was burning up my rear brake on the downhills pretty good.
Oh and I think our official shoe for the team will be Converse slip ons. Ask Rob about what its like to mountain bike in them!
Plenty of people and companies were at the Fat Tire Festival
There were plenty of activites to make the day pretty fun. Wheelie contests, log pulls, skills clinics and the bike limbo which was a riot!
Bike limbo was insane!
Lots of prizes were raffled off including Ergon grips and packs. Tires from Kenda and lots of goodies from WTB.
