Last Saturday, Clint Hosman (Semi-pro XC/Enduro racer) from the Evomo Team was out from the Phoenix, AZ area to check out the mouse and sneak a ride in. Well, the end of 2007 nears and after a year of working my but off it was about time to get the heck out of Los Angeles and find a place far away with a more relaxed vibe. After a list of places that included Colorado, Hawaii and even San Diego – which was immediately vetoed due to the lack of exquisite mountain bike trail access and it being to much like the pit of LA – the choice was Sedona, AZ. He is now the team director for rock racing, This guy has more skill in his dirty socks than I will ever be able to have at any time. So I am on the wounded warrior projects soldier ride after a gnarly couple years in the hospital for those of you who don’t know. We decided to meet again up with Jake for his regular Thursday evening ride over at Marsh Creek. This time we checked out the trails in the North West section of the park. I totally enjoyed the trails we hit last week and was definitely look forward to seeing what the rest of the area had to offer.
